Dr. John Chrisagis has lived in Tempe since 1974. A graduate of Marcos de Niza High School, he completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. After practicing in various medical and optometric settings in the Phoenix area, Dr. Chrisagis began his private practice in Tempe over 25 years ago. He formed Tempe Eyecare Associates in 1989 and the clinic has grown into a well-respected primary eye-care facility.
Dr. Chrisagis, or “Dr. See” as he is known to his patients, is a member of numerous professional and community organizations including the American and Arizona Optometric Associations, the Central Arizona Optometric Society and is a member of the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee for Arizona State University’s Sports Medicine Department. He has participated in many community projects in the East Valley and is a proud member (and a past-president) of the Tempe Diablos, a philanthropic organization whose mission is to aid youth programs in Tempe. He lives in Tempe with his wife, two sons and a daughter.
