John N. Chrisagis O.D., P.C.

Dr. John Chrisagis has lived in Tempe since 1974. A graduate of Marcos de Niza High School, he completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. After practicing in various medical and optometric settings in the Phoenix area, Dr. Chrisagis began his private practice in Tempe over 25 years ago. He formed Tempe Eyecare Associates in 1989 and the clinic has grown into a well-respected primary eye-care facility.

Dr. Chrisagis, or “Dr. See” as he is known to his patients, is a member of numerous professional and community organizations including the American and Arizona Optometric Associations, the Central Arizona Optometric Society and is a member of the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee for Arizona State University’s Sports Medicine Department. He has participated in many community projects in the East Valley and is a proud member (and a past-president) of the Tempe Diablos, a philanthropic organization whose mission is to aid youth programs in Tempe. He lives in Tempe with his wife, two sons and a daughter.

David T. Rockwell, O.D.

Dr. David Rockwell graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1995. He then completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Surgical Co-Management at the Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Rockwell joined Tempe Eyecare Associates in 2009 and provides all types of routine eye care. He has extensive experience within a medical practice setting, providing pre- and post-operative care, glaucoma care, and diagnosing and managing other eye diseases. Dr. Rockwell is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association (AZOA). He was selected as the AZOA’s “Young Optometrist of the Year” in 2004, and served as President in 2006. He is a long-serving board member, and past President, of the Arizona Friends of Talking Books, the charity associated with the Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library. Dr. Rockwell lives in Tempe with his wife and daughter.

Easton C. Kelsey, O.D

Dr. Kelsey was raised in southern California. A graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. A recipient of the military’s Health Professions Scholarship Program, Dr. Kelsey served twelve years in the US Army Medical Service Corp. He practiced optometry in Mannheim, Germany and Ft. Meade, Maryland while on active duty. After his service, he joined Iredell Eye Center in Statesville, North Carolina for a two year associateship. In 2001, he joined Doctors Vision Center as a managing doctor of a corporate office in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2006, he relocated to Arizona to join a private practice and now enjoys working with Tempe Eyecare Associates. Dr. Kelsey lives in Gilbert with three of his four children.

The staff at Tempe Eyecare Associates is a diverse group of individuals of varied backgrounds and talents. Their purpose is make your visit to our office as comfortable and convenient as possible. From the time you make your appointment, to your examination and any services or products you may need now or in the future, our staff will make every effort to be friendly and do whatever they can do to accommodate your needs.

Our experienced staff is well-equipped and educated on contemporary methods to perform functions and procedures to assist you with everything from insurance matters and appointments to assisting with eye examinations and special testing equipment; ordering products for you or a family member; choosing and maintaining your eyewear; and many other functions needed to run a “full-service” optical facility. Our staff boasts two opticians licensed by the American Board of Opticianry and three staff members with over twenty years (each) in the optical industry. Their experience will make your experience with us a better one.
